An Arabic-first LMS for teachers and academies
Taalemy is an Arabic-first learning management system (LMS) with English support, built for independent teachers and academies, and also usable by training centers. It combines course publishing, quizzes and assignments, student and progress tracking, video and PDF protection, and a teaching website under the teacher's or academy's own brand.

What “Arabic-first” means in practice
Arabic in Taalemy is not a translation added later. Right-to-left layout is part of the academy website, the student dashboard and the teacher dashboard from the start.
- Each academy picks Arabic or English as its site's default language and can enable the other one with separate URLs (/ar and /en)
- The academy name and course details can be written in both languages
- Emails to students are sent in the academy's language
- Academies show the payment methods common in their region, such as bank transfer, Vodafone Cash and InstaPay
Courses and programs
A course is made of sections, video lessons and PDF files, and lessons can be sequenced so the next one opens only after a set share of the previous lesson is watched or a quiz is passed. Courses can be grouped into programs and learning paths.
Quizzes, assignments and certificates
Taalemy supports multiple-choice, true/false and essay questions, with automatic grading for objective questions and manual grading for essays and assignments. Questions can be imported from Excel or CSV files or pasted as text, and course completion certificates can be issued.
Student tracking and analytics
Teachers see each student's course progress, watch time and quiz results, record attendance for online and in-person sessions, and review enrollment requests. Basic student analytics are included in the Professional plan and advanced analytics in the Academy plan.
Team and permissions
You can add assistants to work in your academy and give each one specific permissions, without exposing the parts they do not need.
An LMS inside your own website
Unlike an LMS that runs as a separate application, Taalemy runs inside a teaching website with your name and logo, on a free subdomain or your own domain.
Protecting videos and files
Only a student enrolled in the course receives a video playback link, the link is temporary, and the content shows the student's short name and a personal code.
What Taalemy does not include yet
We state these clearly so you can decide with full information:
- A built-in online payment gateway for students is in development; today payments use your own manual methods with request approval
- Built-in live streaming is in development; live sessions currently run through Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams
- AI tools are in development
- A student mobile app is available as a custom service on request, not as part of the standard plans

Yes. You add assistants and set each one's permissions; the number allowed depends on your plan.
Does Taalemy include AI tools?
Not yet. AI tools are in development and are not part of the platform available today.
