Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Taalemy. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Taalemy. This platform is operated by [Your Legal Entity Name] ('Company', 'we', 'us'). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to all users including academy owners (teachers), students, and visitors. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time with appropriate notice.

2. Description of Service

Taalemy is a SaaS (Software as a Service) subscription platform providing subscribers with a comprehensive suite of tools to create and manage digital educational content, including: content organisation, training modules, live streaming, quizzes, digital certificates, AI integrations, custom landing pages, and subdomains.

Taalemy is not a marketplace and does not facilitate any payments between its subscribers and third parties. The only payment processed on the platform is the subscriber's SaaS subscription fee paid directly to Taalemy. The platform is not used in any way to collect money from other end users.

The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time with as much advance notice as reasonably possible.

3. Registration & Accounts

To use the platform you must create an account with accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must be 18 years of age or older, or acting under the supervision of a legal guardian.
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.
  • You must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

The service is offered under monthly or annual subscription plans paid directly to Taalemy (via Paddle as Merchant of Record). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Payment flow: You (subscriber) → Paddle → Taalemy. No payments pass through the platform between any other parties.

The Company reserves the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Changes will not apply to the current billing cycle.

5. Paddle — Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

All payments on the Taalemy platform are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ('Paddle'). Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all our transactions, meaning Paddle is responsible for collecting payments, applicable taxes (including VAT), and issuing official receipts.

By completing a purchase, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service (available at paddle.com) in addition to our own terms. Paddle retains payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not store any credit card data.

For any payment or refund disputes, contact Paddle directly at paddle.com or review our Refund Policy.

8. Student Data

As an academy owner, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate student consent for data collection and processing in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The Company acts as a data processor on your behalf with respect to student data.
