A teaching platform for teachers in Egypt, under your own name
Taalemy lets a secondary-school teacher, private tutor, tutoring center or academy in Egypt run a complete teaching platform under their own name: upload recorded lessons, protect videos from downloading and sharing, take student payments via InstaPay or Vodafone Cash, and track attendance and quizzes from one dashboard. Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds to visitors from Egypt, starting at EGP 1,200 a month.
- From EGP 1,200 a month
- InstaPay, Vodafone Cash and bank transfer
- A watermark with each student's name on the video
- QR attendance in the center and online
Who it suits in Egypt
Taalemy is built for teachers who want students to be their own students, on their own site, not on a lesson marketplace that lists other teachers next to them.
- Secondary and preparatory teachers who sell recorded lessons or monthly access
- Private tutors moving part of their teaching online
- Tutoring centers that need attendance, assistants and student tracking
- Language, programming, Quran and professional-training academies

How students in Egypt pay
You add the payment methods you already use, such as InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, an e-wallet or bank transfer, with instructions for each. The student pays, uploads a photo of the receipt from the course page, you approve the request, the course opens, and the amount is recorded on your earnings page.
There is currently no built-in online payment gateway (such as card payment on the site); it is in development.
Protecting your lessons from leaks
Leaked recorded lessons are a known problem for teachers in Egypt. On Taalemy only an enrolled student receives a video playback link, the link expires, the video shows the student's short name and account code, and viewing sessions are recorded so you can trace the source of a leaked copy. No protection can fully stop someone filming the screen, but the watermark identifies who leaked.
Attendance and follow-up
On the Professional and Academy plans you record online and in-person attendance, and a student can check in at the center by scanning a QR code that refreshes automatically. You follow each student's progress, watch minutes and quiz results, and add assistants with limited permissions.
Students can save a parent's phone number in their account, but there is currently no separate parent portal.
