A platform for tutoring centers that joins in-person and online lessons
A tutoring center needs more than video uploads: student attendance, assistants who follow payments and questions, recorded lessons that do not leak, and regular quizzes. Taalemy gives the center a site and platform under its own name where students check in by scanning a QR code in the room, watch recorded lessons with a watermark carrying their name, and take quizzes, while assistants handle enrollments and payments from the dashboard.

Attendance in the room and online
You open an attendance session and a QR code appears that refreshes every few seconds, with a manual fallback code; students scan it from their phones to check in, and sending a photo of the code to an absent student does not help because it changes. Attendance for live online sessions is recorded too. The attendance system is on the Professional and Academy plans.
Assistants and permissions
You add assistants with specific permissions, such as reviewing enrollment requests and payment receipts or following students, without giving them full control: 1 on Starter, 3 on Professional, up to 5 on Academy and up to 20 on the Custom plan.
If the center has several teachers who each want their own dashboard, that is available on the Custom plan only.
Recorded lessons and quizzes
You upload recorded revision and explanation lessons, unlock them in order after a watch percentage or a passed quiz, and add auto-graded quizzes or import them from Excel. Because each student sees their own name on the video, lessons are hard to pass around to other centers' students without the source being known.
Student numbers and the right plan
Plans are limited by student count: up to 20 on Starter, 100 on Professional, 250 on Academy and unlimited on Custom. A center serving hundreds of students usually needs Academy or Custom, so contact us to size it.
Students can save a parent's phone number, but there is currently no separate parent portal and no automatic SMS.
